Photography has been part of my life for more than 20 years - long enough that I don’t really know where the profession ends and the personal obsession begins.
I grew up on the Kuril Islands, where nature was impossible to ignore. I think it taught me to look closely long before I picked up a camera. Since then, making images has been how I explore ideas, experiment, and develop my own visual language.
